Adipex (phentermine) is a commonly recommended appetite suppressant that works by affecting areas of the brain responsible for food cravings. Make sure you take Adipex regularly and combine it with regular exercising and healthier diet. Mild side effects are possible when taking Adipex, such as constipation, dry mouth, unpleasant taste, vomiting, and diarrhea. More serious side effects are also possible and can include any of the following ones: increased blood pressure, swelling of the legs and ankles, insomnia, heart palpitations, tremor, dizziness, chest pain, restlessness, shortness of breath, and dizziness. Before you start the treatment, your health care provider is supposed to know if you are using any other drugs or if you have any medical conditions that may interact with Adipex. The following medical conditions are very important to mention: diabetes, heart disease, a history of drug abuse, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, and arteriosclerosis. Also inform your health care provider of the fact of taking oral insulin or diabetes medications, guanadrel, antidepressants, or high blood pressure meds. Drug interactions can be avoided if you are careful with taking any new meds along with Adipex.
